Highest Highline of Europa at the Capanna Regina Margherita in more than 4500m height

On the 6th of September 2009 Tillmann Müller, Jörg Helfrich and team-member Lars Krücke broke the European record of the highest highline. The slackliners managed to rig and walk a 30m long highline from the Capanna Regina Margeritha (4554m), the highest alpine hut on the Punta Gnifetti (Monte Rosa) in the Italien Alps, to a prominent Rockpillar on the main ridge. Tillmann Müller: “It is always an extrordinary feeling to take a path no one has ever walked before – especially in such a spectacular surrounding and under such severe conditions as we experienced up there.“
